Comparing competitive team-based learning with other instructional methods and approaches

Having introduced Competitive Team-Based Learning (CTBL), this paper presents a cogent and critical analysis comparison of CTBL with other popular methods approaches in the arena Education general Language Teaching particular, terms their distinguishing features characteristics. Among such are Communicative (CLT), Collaborative (ColL), Interactive (IntL), Cooperative (CL)/methods which appreciated particularly U.S. West. A synthesis drawbacks is considered article. The article also explicates how CTBL, researcher’s educational innovation, has been formulated based on his edu-political theories last analysis, an approach to human security prosperity, world peace. This would contribute making sound decision implementing Teaching/Education for ultimate goal peace-making more compassionate civilization building.
